Here are just a few thoughts/questions so far that I can think of. If you read through this page take the time to think about your answer. Responses can be discussed in class, time permitting.

What came first, the chicken or the egg?

A silly question....or is it? I'm sure that it's one that you've all heard, think about your answer, but more importantly explain why in your answer. It's a very good biology question, after all, this site is supposed to be educational.

Why do we have wisdom teeth?

Wisdom teeth have the power to kill us. They can grow in impacted and cause serious infection resulting in death. So then why haven't humans lost them during processes of natural selection. And NO, it's not because we have dentists. Remember, humans have been around way before dentistry.

Does Moscow really exist?

To those people who say yes because, " I've seen maps, pictures, etc.," or, " I know people who've been there," let me say this. Below is a picture of a unicorn. They appear in movies, books, history, and a ton of other places (just like Moscow). People claimed to have seen them, to have touched them, owned them, etc. So then let me ask you a similar question. Do unicorns exist?

Why do many birds, like vultures, have bald heads and/or necks?

To help you answer this question think of what types of birds have this characteristic and think about what kind of advantage would those birds have.

What does it say on your zipper?

Have a look at any article of clothing that you have that has a zipper on it. Do they all have something in common, or most of them at least. Can you explain it?
